
Center Development Corporation (CDC), established in 1971 in New York City, is the developer for 108 Mount Vernon Street. CDC has a keen interest in restoration, rehabilitation, and preservation projects. The firm is known for its neighborhood centric approach to development. It is very much a part of the “new urbanism” trend, which is modeled after the New England village concept.
CDC’s work in development has evolved over the years from New York City and the surrounding areas to Hartford, Connecticut, and most recently, Middletown, Rhode Island, and Boston’s Beacon Hill. ArchitectGrassi Design Group, located in Boston, Massachusetts, is the architect for the project. Founded in 1981, the company has pioneered the design of high-end, luxury condominiums in the Boston area. Among its 400 works are: The Prince, 1 Commonwealth Avenue, 3 Commonwealth Avenue, 150 Beacon Street, the Burrage Mansion, and the Phillips Street School House on Beacon Hill.
ContractorConnaughton Construction Corporation of Waltham, Massachusetts, is the contractor for 108 Mount Vernon Street. The company has over 18 years of experience in the construction industry and, most recently, was the contractor on Beacon Hill for 50 Beacon Street, a luxury condominium property completed in 2005.
Marketing and SalesColdwell Banker’s Previews Property Specialist, Sharon L. Rice is exclusively marketing 108 Mount Vernon Street. Sharon was responsible for selling the building to the developer.
